After taking down the ball on SE Tijolo 6 Furos's corner Giovanni Custódio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Corrado Contestabile quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Hyblae FC defense, Vicente Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corrado Contestabile. The Hyblae FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corrado Contestabile should have stopped the shot. Dagoberto Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Giancola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Amedeo Giancola notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Dagoberto Veiga. Dagoberto Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute Eigirdas Burnickas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vicente Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SE Tijolo 6 Furos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Eigirdas Burnickas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Veiga having to interfere. When SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Vicente Azevedo, in the 28th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SE Tijolo 6 Furos. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferruccio Festuccia to make the kick off. Ademir Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Dagoberto Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Giancola in the 54th minute of the match. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Jimi Drongstrup managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zé Urbano in the 59 minute of the game. 61 minutes into the game, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Vicente Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corrado Contestabile made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Raimundo Bittencourt was substituted for Jimi Drongstrup. In the 79th minute of the match Zé Urbano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dagoberto Veiga skillfully saved the ball. In the 80th match minute, SE Tijolo 6 Furos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Dagoberto Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Pasciu in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Hyblae FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Zé Urbano hit a great ball. Amedeo Giancola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Veiga having to interfere. After 91 played minutes SE Tijolo 6 Furos got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Neto. Raimundo Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
