In the 13th minute of the match, Žydrūnas Pauža tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Klement Bialakowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Augusto Estefan took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tayfun Tanfer. Tayfun Tanfer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Klement Bialakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ján Novák in the 22nd minute of play. Augusto Estefan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tayfun Tanfer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Estefan in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tayfun Tanfer saved MarineerS FK from getting behind. Tayfun Tanfer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Zbigniew Marchewka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Antolin's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Klement Bialakowski - 1-3 was put on the score board in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Augusto Estefan made the kick off in the second half. Tayfun Tanfer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Estefan went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Estefan in the 53rd minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Tayfun Tanfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
