The FC Dalin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hoàng Tran should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, FC Dalin's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Capasso came free, but Hoàng Tran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P's Florian Capasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hoàng Tran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Florian Capasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hoàng Tran. FC Dalin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florian Capasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Merusca F&P were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after FC Dalin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walmyr Novaes took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Walmyr Novaes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hoàng Tran quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 28th minute Florian Capasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hoàng Tran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Florian Capasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hoàng Tran was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Hoàng Tran came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Merusca F&P's Florian Capasso. But to his dismay, Florian Capasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Hoàng Tran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Capasso in the 41st minute of the match. FC Dalin's Hoàng Tran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Capasso in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P's Florian Capasso got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Florian Capasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florian Capasso was the one to do the kick off. Florian Capasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hoàng Tran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Capasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hoàng Tran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Capasso ran back to his position shaking his head. Hoàng Tran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Capasso in the 56th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P's goal looked a bit too open when Phạm Nguyet came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Merusca F&P's Florian Capasso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Merusca F&P's Pedrinho Paranaense managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Thorvald Mansel in the 72 minute of the game. Hoàng Tran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Hélder Fonseca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hoàng Tran, 0-5. Hoàng Tran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hélder Fonseca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 89 minute of play. Hoàng Tran was a little too slow when Hélder Fonseca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-7. 95 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P's Hélder Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hoàng Tran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Lê Tan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
