The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lisandro Tomi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Gavino Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Lartaun to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Washington Lira put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gavino Orlan. Gavino Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Lira in the 22nd minute of play. Washington Lira might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Orlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Washington Lira ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26thth minute of the game William Magalhães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Washington Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute William Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Washington Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Washington Lira came free, but Gavino Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Washington Lira came free, but Gavino Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Tano to make the kick off. Gavino Orlan made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Washington Lira sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the game, William Magalhães recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gavino Orlan. In the 61st minute, Washington Lira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DENVER™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Nico Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Salamon, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Lira got free with Gavino Orlan in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustino Lartaun got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Délio Campidelis replaced Washington Lira. Gavino Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Magalhães in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Délio Campidelis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gavino Orlan. The goal made the score 0-5. 82 minutes into the game, Narciso Tano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Nico Furlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 88 played minutes ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Ladio. 90 minutes into the match, Délio Campidelis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Orlan. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Délio Campidelis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. In the 94th minute, Joel Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Saverio Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DENVER™ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
