When Conrado Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DENVER™'s protests and gave Conrado Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. Nico Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Negro in the 13th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by DENVER™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Neil Degabriele was slow to take the kick. During this time Seraċini Għawdxin's players had a chance to rest. Nico Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Song Wei Yun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nico Furlan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Song Wei Yun's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Nico Furlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleithon Minuhin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Jansson in the 54th minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Nico Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, Seraċini Għawdxin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Song Wei Yun to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Griffin came free, but Nico Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DENVER™'s Nico Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Griffin in the 84th minute of play. Conrado Paraibano was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 87th minute, Conrado Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Pirlo came free, but Nico Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Jansson struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Nico Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seraċini Għawdxin. In the 91st minute Samuel Griffin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Song Wei Yun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Song Wei Yun made a precise shot to the right of Nico Furlan. DENVER™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Seraċini Għawdxin players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
