An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Hansson in the 25th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Gameiro Lenoble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Yannick Bach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 27 minutes, Tito Rangkuti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Gameiro Lenoble, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cyril Jardin's late challenge caught a SAPI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Saint Côme de Fresné fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gameiro Lenoble should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt-Arne Hansson was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dan Carrette hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as SAPI FC's Imam Sarwono slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gameiro Lenoble. That made the score 0-9 after 91 minutes of play. Darren Mignot kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Dan Carrette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Tito Rangkuti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
