The audience thought a goal was coming when Edu Terra got free with José Maria Branco in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Maria Branco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Terra in the 38th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcel Sanches was the one to do the kick off. Manga Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turabi Paksan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Sanches in the 57th minute of play forced MACUMBA's goalkeeper Manga Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bem Bolado's José Maria Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Terra in the 58th minute of play. Bem Bolado made a substitution. After 75 minutes, Francisco Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bem Bolado and the MACUMBA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bem Bolado's Francisco Alves got a free kick in the 75th minute. A collision led to Bem Bolado getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marcelinho do Valle hit a great ball. When Orlando Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the MACUMBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Coelho couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Orlando Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bem Bolado players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MACUMBA.
