Veto Harroyo hit a great ball. Kıvanç Yücesan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Jorrin in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Urki in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kıvanç Yücesan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute Domingo Urki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kıvanç Yücesan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kıvanç Yücesan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Benvide in the 26th minute of play. Astor Aragones was a little too slow when Argyris Zagorakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. The throw-in from Qwinton Blazquez in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Formentera's 龙建烨. After some careless play in the Formentera defense, Argyris Zagorakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Aragones. The Formentera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Aragones should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Argyris Zagorakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Aragones was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Zagorakis in the 36th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Astor Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Moya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Aragones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingo Urki was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Karel Van Den Abeele left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Pfullendorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Carlos Fernández kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Astor Aragones dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 彭森银 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Astor Aragones having to make a save.
