In the 20thth minute of the game Marcelo Cavenaghi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formentera's Camilo Mondragon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavio Cifuentes made a kick off. In the 55th minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Obregón Pardemanos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Obregón Pardemanos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Mondragon having to make a save. Obregón Pardemanos might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Mondragon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Obregón Pardemanos ran back to his position shaking his head. Obregón Pardemanos took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Mondragon. Camilo Mondragon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Endira in the 95th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Camilo Mondragon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle sounded Taltum FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Formentera.
