Benedicto Astigar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, López Heredia made a precise shot to the right of Benedicto Astigar. CADU de Zarate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers López Heredia in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Astigar saved CADU de Zarate from getting behind. The throw-in from Angelo Ixona in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Teodelina FC's Victor Errapel. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, López Heredia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teodelina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but López Heredia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Horia Păuceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for López Heredia to strike the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Astigar made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when López Heredia sent off a good shot on target. Angelo Ixona hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a little luck, CADU de Zarate's Benedicto Astigar got control of the ball when López Heredia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teodelina FC made a substitution. Benedicto Astigar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Silvano Baladi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Astigar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Silvano Baladis short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Benedicto Astigar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benedicto Astigar had great luck who in the 78thth minute grab hold of the ball when Silvano Baladi from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Silvano Baladi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Astigar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, CADU de Zarate's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Baladi came free, but Benedicto Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Baladi got free with Benedicto Astigar in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Teodelina FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
