The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Astor Aragones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from López Heredia, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After the first half Teodelina FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when López Heredia made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Luca Savinov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the game, Ariel Libertad threw the ball into play from the sideline. Teodelina FC's Siro Porfiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Formentera's Astor Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by López Heredia in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ernests Barsinēvičs hit a great ball. Teodelina FC's Rodolfo Arruabarrena was substituted for Fernando Redondo. The corner ended in Luca Savinov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Formentera's Astor Aragones did a great save. 71 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's Silvano Baladi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Aragones narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Formentera:s Astor Aragones showed great skill when he stopped Silvano Baladi:s penalty. 76 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Porfiro came free, but Astor Aragones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Formentera's Astor Aragones got control of the ball when Silvano Baladi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Silvano Baladi took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Astor Aragones to make any attempt to save it. Lucas Erruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Astor Aragones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodelina FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
