Niklas Lundqvist started the match with the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Jenipapo SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Shadows:s goal. 7 minutes into the match, Niklas Lundqvist notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren. Karl Pilgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bastian Von Axelson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Karl Pilgren made a huge save. In the 14th match minute, The Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joacim Nordin to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes, Jenipapo SC's Ricardinho Pena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Basso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jenipapo SC reached it. Karl Pilgren came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Shadows's Herbert Holmgren. But to his dismay, Herbert Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Karl Pilgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Jenipapo SC defense, Karl-Åke Andreasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Pilgren. The Jenipapo SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Pilgren should have stopped the shot. Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 36th minute of play. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Monteiro in the 40th minute of the match. Ricardinho Pena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Basso. The Shadows's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Karl Pilgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Holmgren in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinicio Junior to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcos Basso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Åke Andreasson scored 4-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Pilgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 59 played minutes The Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Plopșor. When Ricardinho Pena came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Jenipapo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Pena couldn't finish the play. Vinicio Junior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marcos Basso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Niklas Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Pilgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastian Von Axelson, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Dylan Browne hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The supporters of The Shadows booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Browne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl Pilgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Von Axelson came free, but Karl Pilgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Pilgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Lundqvist in the 78th minute of play. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Shadows's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ricardinho Pena was slow to take the kick. During this time Jenipapo SC's players had a chance to rest. Karl Pilgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman Lindell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, The Shadows's Herman Lindell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Pilgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 90 minutes into the game, Vinicio Junior was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jenipapo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Shadows the free kick. In the 90th match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Junior to maneuver through the defense. Karl Pilgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bastian Von Axelson's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the game, Bo á Bø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Karl Pilgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
