Pietro Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moisés Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pietro Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pietro Santos in the 4th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Moisés Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pietro Santos in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moisés Arruda saved Poetass FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Pietro Santos put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Moisés Arruda. Moisés Arruda came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by FALCÕES VERDES's Pietro Santos. But to his dismay, Pietro Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pietro Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moisés Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pietro Santos in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match FALCÕES VERDES got a corner. Poetass FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pietro Santos ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 17th minute, Juvenal Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FALCÕES VERDES booed when Poetass FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's Pietro Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moisés Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Pietro Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moisés Arruda. Poetass FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pietro Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. FALCÕES VERDES's Pietro Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon-Egil Schjelderup in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Poetass FC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Poetass FC's Jon-Egil Schjelderup looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Moisés Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pietro Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half FALCÕES VERDES were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Brysz came free, but Thomás Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FALCÕES VERDES booed when Poetass FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Pietro Santos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Moisés Arruda. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Poetass FC's goalkeeper Moisés Arruda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Poetass FC made a substitution. Nildo de Souza replaced Gerson Carneiro. In the 70th minute FALCÕES VERDES were awarded a corner. Pietro Santos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Pietro Santos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Poetass FC's Moisés Arruda did a great save. Thomás Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo de Souza in the 73rd minute of play. Thomás Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Brysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Poetass FC's Moisés Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietro Santos in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th minute Pietro Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Brysz came free, but Thomás Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Witalis Brysz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomás Fernandes. FALCÕES VERDES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witalis Brysz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. FALCÕES VERDES made a substitution. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Poetass FC's goalkeeper Moisés Arruda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fernando de Lara during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luiz Fernando de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. FALCÕES VERDES's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
