Binne Koppermann struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Tarcísio Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Clube Patrício. The referee showed Lisandro Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Manuel Lages came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Sporting Clube Patrício fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Lages couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Lisandro Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Clube Patrício's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Assis hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Rubim Queirós lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Sporting Clube Patrício:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of OMNI Club:s goal. Sporting Clube Patrício:s Ademar Azevedo showed great skill when he stopped Chupan Lopez:s penalty. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
