Ribeirada's Inácio Quinaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Binne Koppermann in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Binne Koppermann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Inácio Quinaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute, Binne Koppermann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inácio Quinaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Binne Koppermann put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Inácio Quinaz. Inácio Quinaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Binne Koppermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Binne Koppermann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Rico was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Inácio Quinaz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Binne Koppermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Inácio Quinaz made a huge save. In the 57th minute João Francisco Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Binne Koppermann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inácio Quinaz was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Ribeirada's Duarte Valadares got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Ribeirada got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Valadares. With his leg Inácio Quinaz managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Sporting Clube Patrício's Vicente Maia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th minute, Duarte Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Quinaz was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Vicente Maia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vicente Maia really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. When Basarab Ceaușu came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ribeirada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basarab Ceaușu couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sporting Clube Patrício walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
