Ahmet Turan Ayberk was slow to take the kick. During this time mar-azul's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 17 minutes, Saúl Lage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. mar-azul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saúl Lage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murilo Fernandes in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Sparks saved Miradeses FC from getting behind. Saúl Lage could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Peter Sparks made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murilo Fernandes got free with Peter Sparks in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Murilo Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Estevão Lemos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morris Zemp, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Peter Sparks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Fernandes in the 31st minute of play. Murilo Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Sparks made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Murilo Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Murilo Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Sparks was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When mar-azul's Murilo Fernandes in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Murilo Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Sparks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Pacheco in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Sparks prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peter Sparks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murilo Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Murilo Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Sparks was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. A collision led to Miradeses FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eliseu Prates hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Roberto Pacheco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The mar-azul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. mar-azul had won after a very even match.
