Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The audience thought a goal was coming when Odín Wallffiguer got free with Armindo Maltez in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armindo Maltez came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Atabueira's Odín Wallffiguer. But to his dismay, Odín Wallffiguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Idalécio Carrasqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loukianos Livas in the 15th minute of the match. Idalécio Carrasqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukianos Livas in the 16th minute of play. Ponte do Carro were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after SC Atabueira's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alcino Jesus took the corner. The corner led to Ponte do Carro's Gil Vilhena getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Bryk came free, but Armindo Maltez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loukianos Livas in the 20th minute of play forced SC Atabueira's goalkeeper Idalécio Carrasqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ponte do Carro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alcino Jesus in the 22nd minute. The corner led Ponte do Carro's Gregório Jesus to fire away a dangerous shot which Idalécio Carrasqueira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Armindo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Vital in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loukianos Livas in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Idalécio Carrasqueira saved SC Atabueira from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Loukianos Livas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Idalécio Carrasqueira was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Ponte do Carro from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, SC Atabueira's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Boaventura came free, but Idalécio Carrasqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Simão Boaventura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Idalécio Carrasqueira. SC Atabueira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simão Boaventura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 42nd minute of the match, Jaime Eiró tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armindo Maltez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Idalécio Carrasqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukianos Livas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loukianos Livas was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ponte do Carro's Sandro Moutinho got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 54th minute, Simão Boaventura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belchior Ribeiro in the 55th minute of play forced Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Armindo Maltez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Maltez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Bryk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Bryk came free, but Armindo Maltez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Hugon Bryk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Maltez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Idalécio Carrasqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Boaventura, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Odín Wallffiguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Maltez having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Armindo Maltez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odín Wallffiguer in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute Simão Boaventura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idalécio Carrasqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Atabueira's Idalécio Carrasqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Livas in the 77th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Belchior Ribeiro came free, but Armindo Maltez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Belchior Ribeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armindo Maltez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ponte do Carro's Palmiro Leite was substituted for Alcino Jesus. Ponte do Carro's Francisco Queirós was substituted for Gregório Jesus. SC Atabueira made a substitution. Josué Campelo replaced Hugon Bryk. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Simão Boaventura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponte do Carro's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Boaventura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Idalécio Carrasqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Atabueira's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
