Jairo Veiga hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, GD Almargense's Celso Eiró ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olavo Pinto. With an all-out effort, GD Almargense's Olavo Pinto threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dušan Vlahović, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarco Patrício in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Baldaia during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacinto Baldaia hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. 99 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Hamberg came free, but Claudemiro Tristão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GD Almargense walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
