An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Veiga in the 7th minute of play forced SC Atabueira's goalkeeper Idalécio Carrasqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Jaime Eiró shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cassandros Elite Team's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jaime Eiró 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Jaime Eiró recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olavo Pinto made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Belchior Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Ogün Sarper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Idalécio Carrasqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ogün Sarper, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Odín Wallffiguer sped through Cassandros Elite Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olavo Pinto. Josué Pedroso struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Idalécio Carrasqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cassandros Elite Team. Panit Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Idalécio Carrasqueira having to interfere. When Rolf Hamberg fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cassandros Elite Team's protests and gave Rolf Hamberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Cassandros Elite Team got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Hamberg. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Idalécio Carrasqueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolf Hamberg in the 52nd minute. Josué Pedroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Idalécio Carrasqueira made a huge save. In the 55th minute Rolf Hamberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idalécio Carrasqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match Hugon Bryk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olavo Pinto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Olavo Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odín Wallffiguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Olavo Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odín Wallffiguer in the 62nd minute of play. Paulo Avelar hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Hugon Bryk managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Atabueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugon Bryk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odín Wallffiguer in the 75th minute of play forced Cassandros Elite Team's goalkeeper Olavo Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Atabueira made a substitution. Josué Campelo replaced Hugon Bryk. Reinaldo Veríssimo made a great header on SC Atabueira's corner, it was just that Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto managed to reach the ball for a save. Idalécio Carrasqueira came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Cassandros Elite Team's Rolf Hamberg. But to his dismay, Rolf Hamberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Idalécio Carrasqueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josué Pedroso in the 84th minute. Cassandros Elite Team were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after SC Atabueira's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolf Hamberg took the corner. Josué Pedroso made a great header on Cassandros Elite Team's corner, it was just that SC Atabueira's Idalécio Carrasqueira managed to reach the ball for a save.
