After 21 minutes, Lisandro Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seleção de Aleijados and the Bacardi Black Bats players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flávio Regueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Queiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bacardi Black Bats's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Queiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flávio Regueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moisés Queiroga was the one to do the kick off. Flávio Regueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Queiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Lisandro Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flávio Regueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Queiroga in the 59th minute of the match. When Moisés Queiroga came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Bacardi Black Bats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Queiroga couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Bacardi Black Bats's Moisés Queiroga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flávio Regueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bacardi Black Bats's Artur Brudzisz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Lapadula in the 69th minute of play. Flávio Regueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Parzysz in the 71st minute of play. Bacardi Black Bats were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Seleção de Aleijados's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hermenegildo Rebelo took the corner. Artur Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Matias, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Moisés Queiroga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flávio Regueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. After 87 minutes Seleção de Aleijados's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hermenegildo Rebelo who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel-Andrés Lapadula in the 88th minute of play forced Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Artur Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Bacardi Black Bats's Moisés Queiroga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flávio Regueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. In the 93rd minute Moisés Queiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Regueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Cristóvão França in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Seleção de Aleijados's Lisandro Linhares. After 95 played minutes Bacardi Black Bats got a freekick which was hit by Dimas Gois. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bacardi Black Bats walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
