In the 9th minute Fabrício Graça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sálvio Vilas Boas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, G.D Vitória de Sernache's goal looked a bit too open when David De Boeck came free, but Guilherme Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme Prada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipólito Amado, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Guilherme Prada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Mascia in the 16th minute of the match. Guido Mista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Hipólito Amado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Prada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. G.D Vitória de Sernache's Guilherme Prada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David De Boeck in the 29th minute of play. Alexandre Torcato took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilherme Prada. Guilherme Prada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some careless play in the G.D Vitória de Sernache defense, David De Boeck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme Prada. The G.D Vitória de Sernache fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Prada should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Beira Mar SC booed when G.D Vitória de Sernache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avelino Vasques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guilherme Prada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciccio Mascia went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute, David De Boeck made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme Prada. G.D Vitória de Sernache's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabrício Graça to strike the kick off in the second half. When G.D Vitória de Sernache's Fabrício Graça, in the 52nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for G.D Vitória de Sernache. After a rather tough play, Beira Mar SC's Aparício Machado got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 54 played minutes, G.D Vitória de Sernache's Paras Burr shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sálvio Vilas Boas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Guilherme Prada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guilherme Prada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David De Boeck in the 85th minute of play. After 86th play minutes David De Boeck shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Guilherme Prada and just under the crossbar into goal. Fabrício Graça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sálvio Vilas Boas having to interfere. Ye Sang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sálvio Vilas Boas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Graciano Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Guilherme Prada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beira Mar SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
