Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rodrigo Castilho kicked off to start the match. Herminio Raebert struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Sálvio Vilas Boas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coelho FC. In the 8th minute, Rodrigo Castilho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sálvio Vilas Boas. The goal made the score 1-0. Almiro Guimarães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sálvio Vilas Boas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute David De Boeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Ávila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Coelho FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David De Boeck was slow to take the kick. During this time Beira Mar SC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Beira Mar SC's corner David De Boeck fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacinto Ávila quite easily take care of the ball. In the 19th match minute, Beira Mar SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joélson Moreira to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Cristiano Maltez from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Sálvio Vilas Boas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Beira Mar SC's David De Boeck in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coelho FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 20 minutes, David De Boeck made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Coelho FC's Jacinto Ávila tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, David De Boeck put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jacinto Ávila. Rodrigo Castilho in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sálvio Vilas Boas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jacinto Ávila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David De Boeck in the 30th minute of play. Hipólito Pimentel was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Herminio Raebert did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Sálvio Vilas Boas 35 minutes into the match. With his leg Sálvio Vilas Boas managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Coelho FC's Rodrigo Castilho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacinto Ávila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David De Boeck in the 41st minute of the match. 2-3 became the score in the 46th minute when David De Boeck elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half Beira Mar SC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David De Boeck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as David De Boeck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Ávila. That made the score 2-4 in the 56 minute of play. Hipólito Pimentel kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Beira Mar SC's Sálvio Vilas Boas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Raebert in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, David De Boeck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Ávila. Coelho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David De Boeck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Beira Mar SC's Graciano Medeiros was substituted for Alexandre Torcato. In the 72nd minute of the match Coelho FC got a corner. Beira Mar SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Almiro Guimarães ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Coelho FC's Almiro Guimarães to fire away a dangerous shot which Sálvio Vilas Boas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Beira Mar SC's zone, Herminio Raebert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sálvio Vilas Boas came out of the goal and Herminio Raebert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sálvio Vilas Boas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Castilho in the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Joélson Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Castilho in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sálvio Vilas Boas saved Beira Mar SC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Coelho FC's zone, David De Boeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Ávila came out of the goal and David De Boeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sálvio Vilas Boas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Castilho went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. The supporters of Coelho FC booed when Beira Mar SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aparício Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Coelho FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Beira Mar SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Beira Mar SC.
