A collision led to Amendoais getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Naike Carragal hit a great ball. If Naike Carragal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The supporters of Amendoais booed when Chapecoense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Caneira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chapecoense's Kaan Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romão Araújo in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Chapecoense's Kaan Navas got control of the ball when Naike Carragal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romão Bentes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mózes Huszti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Edwards in the 29th minute of play. Flavio Segio charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Segio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Amendoais booed when Chapecoense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Segio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chapecoense's Kaan Navas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Chapecoense from getting a goal against them. After 35 played minutes Chapecoense got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Segio. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Romão Araújo sped through Chapecoense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kaan Navas. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Kaan Navas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kaan Navas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romão Araújo in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

58 minutes into the match, Chapecoense's goal looked a bit too open when Naike Carragal came free, but Kaan Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naike Carragal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaan Navas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romão Araújo in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chapecoense's Volkan Yağınalp got a free kick in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Naike Carragal notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chapecoense's Kaan Navas. Kaan Navas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naike Carragal in the 75th minute of play forced Chapecoense's goalkeeper Kaan Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chapecoense's Kaan Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naike Carragal in the 77th minute of play. Kaan Navas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Czeberowski's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, Naike Carragal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaan Navas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Kaan Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naike Carragal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Hermes Martins made a precise shot to the right of Kaan Navas. Chapecoense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Amendoais's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
