In the 4th minute, one of AD FAFE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AD FAFE. AD FAFE:s Fernando Guerra showed great skill when he stopped Igor Tudor:s penalty. José Bomba struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Fernando Guerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Paços de Ferreira. In the 12th minute, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's José Bomba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. José Bomba scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Guerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in AD FAFE's zone, José Bomba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Guerra came out of the goal and José Bomba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, José Bomba made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Guerra. AD FAFE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. José Bomba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AD FAFE's Fernando Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Bomba in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's José Bomba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After some careless play in the AD FAFE defense, José Bomba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Guerra. The AD FAFE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Guerra should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Sampaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AD FAFE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Paços de Ferreira the free kick. The supporters of F.C. Paços de Ferreira booed when AD FAFE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Bomba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Guerra having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, AD FAFE's goal looked a bit too open when José Bomba came free, but Fernando Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Fernando Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Bomba in the 52nd minute of the match. José Bomba might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Guerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Bomba ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute, José Bomba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Guerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Fernando Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Bomba in the 63rd minute of the match. Fernando Guerra came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Paços de Ferreira's José Bomba. But to his dismay, José Bomba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. After having played for 71 minutes, José Bomba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Bomba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Guerra came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Paços de Ferreira's José Bomba. But to his dismay, José Bomba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Humberto Prada hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. José Bomba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Guerra having to make a save. Fernando Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Bomba, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A collision led to AD FAFE getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Humberto Prada hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Igor Tudor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of AD FAFE booed when F.C. Paços de Ferreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emin Sağan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the F.C. Paços de Ferreira players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
