An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Bejrut in the 11th minute of play forced B.Z. F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match B.Z. F.C. got a corner. PINI FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Estevão Ponte ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porfírio Perdigão got free with Manuel Magalhães in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Joaquim Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Mourato in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Teles saved B.Z. F.C. from getting behind. Virgílio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Mourato in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Igor Christobal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Teles was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Virgílio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Bejrut in the 40th minute of play forced B.Z. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgílio Costa to make the kick off. When Kacapa Fucks came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the PINI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kacapa Fucks couldn't finish the play. B.Z. F.C.'s Paulo Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Mourato in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to PINI FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Witalis Bejrut hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Teodoro Mourato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joaquim Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the B.Z. F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Teixeira couldn't finish the play. With 70 minutes on the clock, André Taveira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. José Guilherme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the match, PINI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Costa came free, but Manuel Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. B.Z. F.C. were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after PINI FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Estevão Ponte took the corner. After taking down the ball on B.Z. F.C.'s corner Estevão Ponte fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manuel Magalhães quite easily take care of the ball. When Witalis Bejrut came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the PINI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witalis Bejrut couldn't finish the play. Witalis Bejrut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the match, B.Z. F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Teles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witalis Bejrut. With a little luck, B.Z. F.C.'s Paulo Teles got control of the ball when Igor Christobal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
