Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) SC Sopegal's Donato Fiúza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Mourato in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adão Leite saved SC Sopegal from getting behind. After 10 minutes, Teodoro Mourato made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Sopegal's Adão Leite tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Fiúza in the 13th minute of play forced PINI FC's goalkeeper Manuel Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Mourato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Adão Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Igor Christobal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adão Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adão Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Mourato's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Igor Christobal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adão Leite firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 30th minute of the match SC Sopegal got a corner. PINI FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Donato Fiúza ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lisandro Pimenta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Magalhães quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 32nd minute, PINI FC's Teodoro Mourato ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adão Leite. Adão Leite yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 43rd minute, Jerónimo Durães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Mourato during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Mourato made a kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Sopegal's Donato Fiúza got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 52nd minute Teodoro Mourato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adão Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adão Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Bejrut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adão Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Mourato in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Daniel Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Mourato might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adão Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Mourato ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of PINI FC booed when SC Sopegal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Frois didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to SC Sopegal getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vladimiro Valadares hit a great ball. When Miromir Mochowak came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the PINI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Mochowak couldn't finish the play. When Igor Christobal came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the PINI FC fans jumped to their feet. Cristóvão Zarco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd match minute, SC Sopegal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Adão Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Bejrut in the 85th minute of play. If Teodoro Mourato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Mourato in the 92nd minute of play forced SC Sopegal's goalkeeper Adão Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristóvão Zarco hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PINI FC had played much better football throughout.
