José Vides made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Campus Douro Academy's Manuel Caetano. Eliseu Bragança made an important save on a dangerous shot by Estevão Ponte in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Eliseu Bragança had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgílio Costa. With an all-out effort, B.Z. F.C.'s Eliseu Bragança threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Guilherme, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Campus Douro Academy's Vedat Burçhan in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye B.Z. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vedat Burçhan to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Vedat Burçhan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Teles. Vedat Burçhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. When Virgílio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the B.Z. F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio Costa couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from José Vides in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Campus Douro Academy's Manuel Caetano. Estevão Ponte hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Vedat Burçhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Campus Douro Academy's Eliseu Bragança played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Costa in the 70th minute of play.
