Celso Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Carreira in the 3rd minute of play. Humberto Velasques came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leandro Abreu could save by the left post. Humberto Velasques's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leandro Abreu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Celso Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Arruda in the 7th minute of play. Sport Clube Sangemil's Leandro Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Clube Sangemil from getting a goal against them. Humberto Velasques kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 10thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Sport Clube Sangemil's keeper Leandro Abreu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Leandro Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslaw Zukowski in the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sport Clube Sangemil defense, Radoslaw Zukowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Abreu. The Sport Clube Sangemil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Abreu should have stopped the shot. Celso Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Carreira in the 15th minute of the match. Daniel Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Sport Clube Sangemil's Simão Carreira in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Futebol Espinhel's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Simão Carreira put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Celso Vasconcelos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Arruda in the 21st minute of play forced Futebol Espinhel's goalkeeper Celso Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Velasques came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leandro Abreu could save by the left post. Radoslaw Zukowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radoslaw Zukowski in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Abreu saved Sport Clube Sangemil from getting behind. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sport Clube Sangemil's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armindo Pegado was slow to take the kick. During this time Futebol Espinhel's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot 37 in the game by Humberto Velasques from a close distance when the talented Leandro Abreu managed to make a qualified save. Sport Clube Sangemil's players were relieved. 39 minutes into the match, Belchior Lages had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Vasconcelos. Futebol Espinhel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belchior Lages was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Carreira in the 42nd minute of play forced Futebol Espinhel's goalkeeper Celso Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sálvio Lousada during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sport Clube Sangemil fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Leandro Abreu had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Armindo Pegado's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Arruda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Celso Vasconcelos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simão Carreira in the 50th minute. When Futebol Espinhel's Humberto Velasques in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sport Clube Sangemil's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute Germano Borba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germano Borba charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Germano Borba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Futebol Espinhel got a freekick which was hit by Germano Borba. With a little luck, Futebol Espinhel's Celso Vasconcelos got control of the ball when Pedro Bento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sport Clube Sangemil's Leandro Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Borba in the 72nd minute of play. Futebol Espinhel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armindo Pegado in the 73rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Armindo Pegado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leandro Abreu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74thth minute of the game Humberto Velasques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Clube Sangemil's Leandro Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Humberto Velasques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 minutes of play, Futebol Espinhel's Humberto Velasques made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Abreu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leandro Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Zukowski in the 83rd minute of play. Simão Carreira came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Celso Vasconcelos could save by the left post. After 92 minutes Futebol Espinhel's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Bento who took care of the corner kick. Leandro Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Velasques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sport Clube Sangemil's Leandro Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Velasques in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
