The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Leitão in the 4th minute of play forced G. D. PENICHE V2's goalkeeper Saúl Zambujal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Shao Kun Yuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VB-Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shao Kun Yuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saúl Zambujal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim de Barros in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saúl Zambujal saved G. D. PENICHE V2 from getting behind. If Shao Kun Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 19th minute of play forced G. D. PENICHE V2's goalkeeper Saúl Zambujal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saúl Zambujal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shao Kun Yuan in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Joaquim de Barros fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Saúl Zambujal. Saúl Zambujal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim de Barros's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervásio Severiano in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saúl Zambujal saved G. D. PENICHE V2 from getting behind. Saúl Zambujal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Luís Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saúl Zambujal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Almiro Santarém hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

VB-Team's Luís Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saúl Zambujal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Jerónimo Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. G. D. PENICHE V2's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VB-Team the free kick. Jerónimo Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Saúl Zambujal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 57th minute. If Shao Kun Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Gervásio Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saúl Zambujal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, G. D. PENICHE V2's Stalin Steckamp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armindo Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stalin Steckamp kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. VB-Team made a substitution. Luís Caeiro replaced Joaquim de Barros. VB-Team's Qiu Sheng Bang was substituted for Sandro Leitão. Saúl Zambujal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 76th minute of the match. Saúl Zambujal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Luís Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Saúl Zambujal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the G. D. PENICHE V2 defense, Gervásio Severiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saúl Zambujal. The G. D. PENICHE V2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saúl Zambujal should have stopped the shot. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Shao Kun Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saúl Zambujal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saúl Zambujal was a little too slow when Luís Braga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-5. Luís Caeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Saúl Zambujal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded VB-Team left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than G. D. PENICHE V2.
