Rogério Vidal started the match with the kick off. Selahaddin Esentürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. StrikerS™'s Fábio Gouveia pulled a muscle in his back after 6 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Isidro Oliviero fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AMLUCHO's protests and gave Isidro Oliviero a yellow card for diving instead. StrikerS™ made a substitution. Carlos Falcão replaced Fábio Gouveia. A collision led to AMLUCHO getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Isidro Oliviero hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Isidro Oliviero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Oinatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match AMLUCHO got a corner. StrikerS™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jackie Banks ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jackie Banks got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rosendo Oinatz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nélson Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rosendo Oinatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Selahaddin Esentürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Antunes in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute StrikerS™ were awarded a corner. Rogério Vidal went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 23rd minute Ştefan Șerbulea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Oinatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, StrikerS™'s Rogério Vidal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Selahaddin Esentürk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. StrikerS™'s Rosendo Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nélson Sousa in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, StrikerS™'s Rosendo Oinatz got control of the ball when Isidro Oliviero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Selahaddin Esentürk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Vidal's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Rogério Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Selahaddin Esentürk was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Nélson Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Oinatz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Nélson Sousa struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Rosendo Oinatz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AMLUCHO. Pedro Haaland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selahaddin Esentürk having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Isidro Oliviero made the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Oliviero in the 52nd minute of play. Rosendo Oinatz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidro Oliviero's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Isidro Oliviero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Oinatz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rosendo Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nélson Sousa in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by StrikerS™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jackie Banks was slow to take the kick. During this time AMLUCHO's players had a chance to rest. Jackie Banks made a great header on AMLUCHO's corner, it was just that StrikerS™'s Rosendo Oinatz managed to reach the ball for a save. Selahaddin Esentürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Haaland in the 83rd minute of play. Rosendo Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Oliviero in the 88th minute of the match. Rosendo Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nélson Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Șerbulea in the 95th minute of play forced StrikerS™'s goalkeeper Rosendo Oinatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The StrikerS™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing StrikerS™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
