Sorin Pintilescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Brochado having to interfere. António Brochado made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Maria Almiron in the 23rd minute. 23 minutes into the match, José Maria Almiron dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of António Brochado, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Vilhena in the 26th minute of play forced AllStars Budas's goalkeeper Laureano Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute of the match CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS got a corner. AllStars Budas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afonso Nunes ran over to the corner to take the kick. If José Maria Almiron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Vilaverde scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of António Brochado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's António Brochado got control of the ball when Adélio Valadão tried to sneak it across the goal line.
