Tiburcio Liher came out of the goal and Carlos Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The tension between the SC Angrense and the Altamora FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Angrense's Emanuel Burtea got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octávio Portugal got free with Honorato Alves in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 60 played minutes SC Angrense got a freekick which was hit by Mladen Kertov. Honorato Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octávio Portugal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octávio Portugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Altamora FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
