If Fazıl Korkutalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Westerstrand came free, but Dário Veríssimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christian Westerstrand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dário Veríssimo was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Salazar in the 21st minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Frederico Salazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mao Zhen Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Westerstrand came free, but Dário Veríssimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Christian Westerstrand put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dário Veríssimo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boruc Brysz in the 40th minute of play forced ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's goalkeeper Dário Veríssimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Academia Monte Gordo were winning 1-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Salazar in the 93rd minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Academia Monte Gordo's Adérito Abreu got a free kick in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Academia Monte Gordo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
