Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raimundo Salgado kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Alexandre Assunção hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Vareiros FC's Liviu Bădiță got control of the ball when Aristides Gouveia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Liviu Bădiță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute SC CARVALHIDO were awarded a corner. Isidro Avelar went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Isidro Avelar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Liviu Bădiță quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aristides Gouveia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Liviu Bădiță read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Liviu Bădiță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Gouveia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Vareiros FC's Raimundo Salgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gwidon Topolski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vareiros FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Siro Oro in the 14th minute. Emanuel Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwidon Topolski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Salgado in the 23rd minute of play forced SC CARVALHIDO's goalkeeper Gwidon Topolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute of the match SC CARVALHIDO got a corner. Vareiros FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isidro Avelar ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 27 minutes, Garth Shaw mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC CARVALHIDO and the Vareiros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raimundo Salgado took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gwidon Topolski. Gwidon Topolski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aristides Gouveia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Bădiță having to interfere. The SC CARVALHIDO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vareiros FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristides Gouveia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Salgados short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Gwidon Topolski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Vareiros FC booed when SC CARVALHIDO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard-Dean Mărăcuță didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Salgado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Gwidon Topolski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to SC CARVALHIDO getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Richard-Dean Mărăcuță hit a great ball. Vareiros FC's attentive Siro Oro managed to snatch the ball when Alvar Forsberg made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. SC CARVALHIDO's Gwidon Topolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Assunção in the 66th minute of play. Liviu Bădiță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Gouveia in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Raimundo Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Topolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Radislav Štochl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, SC CARVALHIDO's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Salgado came free, but Gwidon Topolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The nice shot from Raimundo Salgado in the 85thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Gwidon Topolski had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Liviu Bădiță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Gouveia in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Siro Oro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SC CARVALHIDO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vareiros FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Vareiros FC.
