Alex Frasca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 15 minutes, Amado Vigário managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garanhão do SUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Vigário was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, AC Guizão's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Vigário came free, but Aldaír Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldaír Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Costa went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aldaír Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Michal Kaczanka made a precise shot to the right of Aldaír Ferreira. AC Guizão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Aloísio Garcez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When João Viana fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Torcato Rebocho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Aldaír Ferreira made a huge save. 0-4 came through a penalty shot after 76 played minutes, when Garanhão do SUL:s Torcato Rebocho calmly waited for AC Guizão:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Aldaír Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Kaczanka in the 82nd minute of play. Torcato Rebochos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Aldaír Ferreira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aldaír Ferreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torcato Rebocho in the 97th minute.
