An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Eagle in the 3rd minute of play forced Kåge BF's goalkeeper Roland Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas King got free with Ove Orm in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ove Orm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andreas King showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Ove Orm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Bäcklin in the 8th minute of play. Elefanterna's Ove Orm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Elefanterna from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas King got free with Ove Orm in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roland Backman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Eagle, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Elefanterna's Rickard Hjälm quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Janusz Tipinski, made in the 26th minute of the game. Roland Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Paraense in the 28th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Andreas King got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Kåge BF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hjalmar Spetz hit a great ball. Roland Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Eagle in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Kåge BF defense, Egil Eagle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roland Backman. The Kåge BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland Backman should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Egil Eagle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Backman. Kåge BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egil Eagle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Yngve Uggla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Elefanterna got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Kobra. After a defensive mix-up in Elefanterna's zone, Andreas King stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Orm came out of the goal and Andreas King tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elefanterna's Egil Eagle got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Nilmar Paraense made the kick off in the second half. Roland Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egil Eagle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 50 minutes of play, Elefanterna's Egil Eagle made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland Backman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egil Eagle scored 1-4 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roland Backman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Kåge BF's Jerry Liljeström got a free kick in the 58th minute. Linus Åström hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Kåge BF's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Eagle came free, but Roland Backman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kåge BF's Roland Backman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Kåge BF from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Elefanterna's Egil Eagle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Backman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Elefanterna's Egil Eagle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roland Backman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Roland Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Eagle in the 80th minute of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kåge BF's goalkeeper Roland Backman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roland Backman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilmar Paraense in the 88th minute. Andreas King recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kåge BF made a substitution. Jan-Olof Bergman replaced Andreas King. Elefanterna's Ove Orm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Bergman in the 95th minute of play. Elefanterna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
