An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Juhlin in the 3rd minute of play forced Milan's goalkeeper Sune Mur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Kent Juhlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Mur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Macoma Yoldia's Erland Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patric Kleen in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes Macoma Yoldia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joélson Van Landschoot who took care of the corner kick. Milan's Joélson Van Landschoot was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erland Österberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sune Mur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Juhlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erland Österberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Van Landschoot in the 20th minute of play. Milan's Sune Mur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Juhlin in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Kent Juhlin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sune Mur, 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Milan's goalkeeper Sune Mur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo de Andrade. Wilmer Månsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Mur having to interfere. Erland Österberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christofere Van Cleijnenbreughel in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Van Landschoot in the 36th minute of play forced Macoma Yoldia's goalkeeper Erland Österberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Milan's goalkeeper Sune Mur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo de Andrade. In the 38th minute, Joélson Van Landschoot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erland Österberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Erland Österberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christofere Van Cleijnenbreughel went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Christofere Van Cleijnenbreughel kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kent Juhlin made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Milan got a corner. Macoma Yoldia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joélson Van Landschoot ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wilmer Månsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erland Österberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joélson Van Landschoot in the 62nd minute of the match. Erland Österberg came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Milan's Joélson Van Landschoot. But to his dismay, Joélson Van Landschoot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 67th minute of the match, Joélson Van Landschoot got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erland Österberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 71st minute, Sakarias Asklöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Söderström in the 73rd minute of play forced Macoma Yoldia's goalkeeper Erland Österberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milan's Sune Mur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilmer Månsson in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Macoma Yoldia getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Wladyslaw Walczyk hit a great ball. Sune Mur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Juhlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Christofere Van Cleijnenbreughel charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christofere Van Cleijnenbreughel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christofere Van Cleijnenbreughel kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Jairo de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Mur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
