Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lindman in the 3rd minute of play. 3 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Lindman came free, but Wang Cheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Ekberg came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Gärsnäs BF's Dane Friebe. But to his dismay, Dane Friebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Lindman came free, but Wang Cheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Enström in the 8th minute of play forced Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Enström, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Bernt Carlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wang Cheng having to interfere. Bernt Carlberg took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wang Cheng. Wang Cheng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. George Hägglund hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Bernt Carlberg came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the AC United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernt Carlberg couldn't finish the play. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Enström, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Dane Friebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Ekberg having to interfere. In the 28th minute Dane Friebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gärsnäs BF getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tord Lang hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Joel Lindman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng. Wang Cheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gärsnäs BF's attentive Tord Lang managed to snatch the ball when Erland Norberg made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Wang Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Enström in the 35th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Joel Lindman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wang Cheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Norberg in the 40th minute of the match. After 42 minutes Gärsnäs BF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arne Alén who took care of the corner kick. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Carlberg in the 45th minute of play.
The wind increased when Frederick Griscti made the kick off in the second half. Wang Cheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Dane Friebe came free, but Roger Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With an all-out effort, AC United's Wang Cheng threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernt Carlberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 70th minute, Arne Alén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC United's Joel Lindman got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1-4 became the score in the 73rd minute when Bernt Carlberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Olofsson came free, but Wang Cheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wang Cheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Lindman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Wang Cheng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of AC United booed when Gärsnäs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Östlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torsten Enström scored 1-5 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wang Cheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Gärsnäs BF defense, Rune Olofsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wang Cheng. The Gärsnäs BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wang Cheng should have stopped the shot. When the match was over AC United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gärsnäs BF throughout the match.
