Roger Ekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Östman in the 3rd minute of the match. Swindon Sweden FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Brian Falck in the 7th minute. At last the ball reached Greger Hääger at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of AC United. 0-1. Sven-Erik Lindberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Ekberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Östman came free, but Roger Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Brian Falck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swindon Sweden FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Falck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Marcus Östman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC United's Roger Ekberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Swindon Sweden FF's Reynaldo Tino got control of the ball when Joel Lindman tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marcus Östman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Ekberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Östman's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Ronaldo dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Carlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Brian Falck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swindon Sweden FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Falck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Ekberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to AC United getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rune Olofsson hit a great ball. After 46 minutes of play, Swindon Sweden FF's Marcus Östman made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Ekberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Lindman to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Brian Falck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Swindon Sweden FF and the AC United players grew even worse after the yellow card. 51 minutes into the game, Bernt Carlberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Reynaldo Tino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcus Östman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Ekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Falck in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, AC United's Rune Olofsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Tino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of AC United booed when Swindon Sweden FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Åberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Swindon Sweden FF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. John Åberg hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Brian Falck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Swindon Sweden FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 72 minutes into the match, AC United's goalkeeper Roger Ekberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Östman. Swindon Sweden FF's Reynaldo Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Carlberg in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Bernt Carlberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 83rd minute, Brian Falck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Ekberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Marcus Östman put it in 2-6 from a short distance just to the right of Roger Ekberg. Sabin Ieremia hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Brian Falck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Ekberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Swindon Sweden FF played a much better game than AC United and deserved their victory. The AC United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
