The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Syrianska FC got a freekick which was hit by Einar Ahlbom. Rutger Landin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakarias Nordstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Sven-Olof Bergstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casper Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Haeger in the 13th minute of the match. Kjell-Arne Jakobsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Casper Karlsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rutger Landin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakarias Nordstedt in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Great Ottoman Empire's goalkeeper Rutger Landin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Syrianska FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Jakobsson came free, but Casper Karlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rutger Landin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sakarias Nordstedt went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sakarias Nordstedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rutger Landin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sakarias Nordstedt ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Syrianska FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Stig-Arne Melberg hit a great ball. Gert Haeger had several of the Syrianska FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Casper Karlsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 40th minute, Sakarias Nordstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Syrianska FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Gert Haeger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Casper Karlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Kjell-Arne Jakobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Great Ottoman Empire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell-Arne Jakobsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjell-Arne Jakobsson made a kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Manfred Majman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Great Ottoman Empire's Rutger Landin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kjell-Arne Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Manfred Majman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rutger Landin was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Syrianska FC made a substitution. Hannes Engström replaced Einar Ahlbom. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Nordstedt in the 71st minute of play forced The Great Ottoman Empire's goalkeeper Rutger Landin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfred Majman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rutger Landin having to make a save. Rutger Landin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakarias Nordstedt in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of The Great Ottoman Empire booed when Syrianska FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Vennerlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Syrianska FC made a substitution. Jimmy Hjälm replaced Manfred Majman. After 84 played minutes Syrianska FC got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Vennerlund. In the 88th minute Kjell-Arne Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Karlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Hjälm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Rutger Landin managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Syrianska FC's Jimmy Hjälm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 95thth minute of the game Jimmy Hjälm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Great Ottoman Empire's Rutger Landin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Syrianska FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
