The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nils-Emil Lundberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ture Arvidsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Mathias Smed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Ennegren in the 11th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Mattias Siggesson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baxrimez BK and the ÅFF J players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Baxrimez BK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mattias Siggesson hit a great ball. Ture Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ture Arvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Lundberg in the 17th minute of the match. Nils-Emil Lundberg struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Ture Arvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ÅFF J. Ture Arvidsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Nilsson's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Lars-Erik Ennegren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mathias Smed was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rashko Yurukov's late challenge caught a ÅFF J's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rashko Yurukov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Rashko Yurukov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Allan Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mathias Smed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rashko Yurukov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars-Erik Ennegren kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Ture Arvidsson made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Allan Lundgren sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Baxrimez BK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute Mattias Siggesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Smed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Smed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Ennegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Emil Lundberg in the 56th minute of play forced Baxrimez BK's goalkeeper Ture Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Smed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Ennegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Algot Burman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of ÅFF J:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Baxrimez BK:s goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Baxrimez BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
