Freddie Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Nilsson in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pål Bratt in the 11th minute of play forced ÅFF J's goalkeeper Mathias Smed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, The Green Fairies's Freddie Mattsson got control of the ball when Allan Lundgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Pål Bratt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mathias Smed was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Allan Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Freddie Mattsson made a huge save. In the 26th minute, ÅFF J's Allan Lundgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Allan Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Mattsson having to interfere. Allan Nilsson succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Green Fairies's goalkeeper Freddie Mattsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sivert Lenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ralf Västlund fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Green Fairies's protests and gave Ralf Västlund a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to The Green Fairies getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ralf Västlund hit a great ball. Sakarias Backlund kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Green Fairies's Herbert Lundström couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ÅFF J. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan Nilsson was the one to do the kick off. Ivo Calado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Smed having to interfere. Allan Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Freddie Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Smed was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Pål Bratt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pål Bratt really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Freddie Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Lundgren in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the The Green Fairies defense, Allan Lundgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddie Mattsson. The The Green Fairies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddie Mattsson should have stopped the shot. Freddie Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute of the match ÅFF J got a corner. The Green Fairies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sören Örnberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Freddie Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pål Bratt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vilhelm Berg hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the ÅFF J players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
