The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adil Özerk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Bruse, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ali Nejat Karasu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 14 played minutes Bangkok FC got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Forsell. Rafael Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Erling Rolfsson came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bangkok FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erling Rolfsson couldn't finish the play. Adil Özerk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Edström in the 22nd minute of play. Adil Özerk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nejat Karasu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Kent Boklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Adil Özerk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Niklas Edström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adil Özerk having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Henrik Ambjörnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bangkok FC and the Team Figo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Henrik Ambjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47th play minutes Ali Nejat Karasu shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Adil Özerk and just under the crossbar into goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arne Påk to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rafael Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adil Özerk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Nejat Karasu in the 57th minute of the match. Ali Nejat Karasu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Bangkok FC's goalkeeper Adil Özerk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Nejat Karasu. Konrad Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bangkok FC's Andy Majman got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Bangkok FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Einar Forsberg hit a great ball. Adil Özerk came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Team Figo's Ali Nejat Karasu. But to his dismay, Ali Nejat Karasu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 98 minutes into the match, Erling Rolfsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quirze Acha. Team Figo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erling Rolfsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The Team Figo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
