After a rather tough play, Hummerfiskarna's Hana Banana got a free kick in the 8th minute. The supporters of Vilbergen Boys Club booed when Hummerfiskarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Gorbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was a well-played corner which Arnaldo Queirós managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Osvald Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Vilbergen Boys Club's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Queirós came free, but Nils Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils Tunander was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Nils Tunander made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Arnaldo Queirós sent off a good shot on target. Vilbergen Boys Club's Nils Tunander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Vilbergen Boys Club from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the game, Hector Hanmark threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hummerfiskarna's Tomas Gorbea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 38 minutes into the match, Vilbergen Boys Club's goalkeeper Nils Tunander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Queirós. 40 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Queirós notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Vilbergen Boys Club's Nils Tunander. Nils Tunander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Klas Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vilbergen Boys Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bolli Bolla to strike the kick off in the second half. Rickard Malmström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Holger Mattsson, was totally fooled by Vilbergen Boys Club's Conny Josefsson, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hummerfiskarna's Holger Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvald Mattsson in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Vilbergen Boys Club got a corner. Hummerfiskarna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Egil Byström ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Vilbergen Boys Club's Egil Byström to fire away a dangerous shot which Holger Mattsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nils Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Răducioiu in the 66th minute of play. Nils Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Queirós in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's Arnaldo Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils Tunander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnaldo Queirós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils Tunander having to make a save. Nils Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea De Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Osvald Mattsson came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Hummerfiskarna. Nils-Åke Lagerberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nils Tunander. 5-1. The audience was convinced that Andrea De Toro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils Tunander was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 101 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Andrea De Toro sped through Vilbergen Boys Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nils Tunander. Hummerfiskarna's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
