Sonny Friberger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Magnus Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute of the match Eddie Salqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sonny Friberger skillfully saved the ball. SS Palestra Italia's supporters rose to their feet, but Peder Rang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sonny Friberger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sonny Friberger came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by SS Palestra Italia's Emílio van Rijswijk. But to his dismay, Emílio van Rijswijk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Emílio van Rijswijk managed to get in a good position for a shot. SS Palestra Italia's supporters rose to their feet, but Emílio van Rijswijk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sonny Friberger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Elite FZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emílio van Rijswijk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When SS Palestra Italia's Duarte Abreu in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elite FZ's goalie prevented a goal. Emílio van Rijswijk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sigvard Ahlfors's late challenge caught a SS Palestra Italia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sigvard Ahlfors helped the player get up and apologised. Duarte Abreu had several of the Elite FZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Sonny Friberger as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 38th minute, Duarte Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sonny Friberger was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Emílio van Rijswijk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sonny Friberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elite FZ's Sonny Friberger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Elite FZ from getting a goal against them.

When SS Palestra Italia's Duarte Abreu in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elite FZ's goalie prevented a goal. After 62 played minutes Elite FZ got a freekick which was hit by Michel Pihlwall. In the 71st minute, Emílio van Rijswijk made a precise shot to the right of Sonny Friberger. Elite FZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 77 minutes into the match, Emílio van Rijswijk notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Elite FZ's Sonny Friberger. Sonny Friberger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 89 minutes of play, SS Palestra Italia's Adrian Bryngelsson made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny Friberger was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to SS Palestra Italia getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Kristoffer Hansson hit a great ball.
