An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Lundgren in the 10th minute of play forced Southburn City F.C.'s goalkeeper Edmund Haström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludomir Sala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olaf Segarra in the 15th minute. If Marc Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Southburn City F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ove Lindsten in the 29th minute. After taking down the ball on Southburn City F.C.'s corner Ove Lindsten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ludomir Sala quite easily take care of the ball. Ludomir Sala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Segarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olaf Segarra to strike the kick off in the second half. The corner ended in Ove Lindsten almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mellanström's Ludomir Sala did a great save. 56 minutes into the match, Osvald Olsmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ludomir Sala. Mellanström's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvald Olsmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 67th minute Albano Demesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomir Sala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Oskars Rebec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mellanström's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oskars Rebec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With 76 minutes on the clock, Bengt-Arne Kielberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 77 minutes into the match, Albano Demesio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ludomir Sala. Mellanström's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albano Demesio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Ludomir Sala didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Southburn City F.C.'s Olaf Segarra shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 85 played minutes Mellanström got a freekick which was hit by Marc Lundgren. 86 minutes into the match, Olaf Segarra notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Mellanström's Ludomir Sala. Ludomir Sala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Olaf Segarra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomir Sala was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Ludomir Sala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Olsmann in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mellanström's Henrik Gadd got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 98th match minute, Mellanström was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Björklund to maneuver through the defense. Ludomir Sala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olaf Segarra's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Southburn City F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mellanström had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
