Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olaf Segarra in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Mellberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olaf Segarra in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axel Mellberg saved Sundens BK from getting behind. The supporters of Southburn City F.C. booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Ahlfors didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Pudes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmund Haström was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 28 played minutes, Sundens BK's Börje Törnblom shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmund Haström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sundens BK reached it. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundens BK's goalkeeper Axel Mellberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmund Haström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Pudes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Per Eliasson got a free kick in the 37th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olaf Segarra made a kick off. Axel Mellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Demesio in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Olaf Segarra put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Axel Mellberg. Osvald Olsmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Mellberg having to interfere. A collision led to Sundens BK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Börje Törnblom hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Arne Ahlfors during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Arne Ahlfors to maneuver through the defense. If Albano Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Albano Demesio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southburn City F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Demesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Olaf Segarra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southburn City F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Sundens BK's Axel Mellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Segarra in the 82nd minute of play. Per Eliasson's late challenge caught a Southburn City F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per Eliasson helped the player get up and apologised. Per Eliasson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the game, Agne Björk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sundens BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Southburn City F.C. the free kick. Axel Mellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Demesio in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Southburn City F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Pudes came free, but Edmund Haström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Haström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Pudes in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Birger Wall. There was no doubt that Southburn City F.C. were the better team. Southburn City F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
