Jonsereds IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixten Sjö was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Jonsereds IF booed when Grönlands SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Lövkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grönlands SK's Filip Pilberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Grönlands SK from getting a goal against them. In the 31stth minute of the game Fredric Johnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jonsereds IF's Sigvard Dalkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Grönlands SK fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Grönlands SK's Fredric Johnsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 34 minutes into the match, Jonsereds IF's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Ekerot came free, but Sigvard Dalkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harry Tham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Filip Pilberg made a huge save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sigvard Dalkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Johnsson in the 69th minute of play. Ronny Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Pilberg having to interfere. Filip Pilberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Despite being the better team, Grönlands SK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
