Warberg FC's Justas Kukulskis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Warberg FC from getting a goal against them. Lars-Erik Lindsten might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justas Kukulskis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 29th match minute, Warberg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andréas Ekman to maneuver through the defense. Pil SK's Pelle Lindmark quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Andréas Ekman, made in the 36th minute of the game. When Lars-Erik Lindsten came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Pil SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars-Erik Lindsten couldn't finish the play. Harald Lindell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobbo Breitner in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Warberg FC's goalkeeper Justas Kukulskis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars-Erik Lindsten. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Des Nutsch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Harald Lindell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justas Kukulskis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Pil SK's Harald Lindell got control of the ball when Des Nutsch tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute Warberg FC were awarded a corner. Anthon Myhr went to the cornerflag to take it. If Lars-Erik Lindsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes into the match, Warberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Lindsten came free, but Justas Kukulskis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justas Kukulskis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Lindsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vit Brun got free with Harald Lindell in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84thth minute of the game Vit Brun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pil SK's Harald Lindell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vit Brun got free with Harald Lindell in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Des Nutsch took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Harald Lindell to make any attempt to save it. Torbjörn Rosendal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 97 played minutes Warberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Andréas Ekman. After having played for 98 minutes, Torbjörn Rosendal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pil SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Rosendal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Warberg FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Warberg FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
