Richard Pilgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelinho Motta scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Björnsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Nils Malm in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Stoke FF's Vincent Stolpe. In the 13th match minute, Stoke FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Granlund to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Milan Pavlovský managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockholm Generals's supporters rose to their feet, but Milan Pavlovský was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliott Drewitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torsten Björnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Motta in the 17th minute of play. Stockholm Generals's Torsten Björnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Hultstrand in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Stoke FF's Marcelinho Motta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Björnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Marcelinho Motta took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Björnsson. Torsten Björnsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Torsten Björnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Motta in the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Stoke FF booed when Stockholm Generals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Bryngelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torsten Björnsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelinho Motta's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Stockholm Generals's Torsten Björnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Martinsson in the 36th minute of play. Torsten Björnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pontus Granlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelinho Motta might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torsten Björnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelinho Motta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute Marcelinho Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Björnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Martinsson in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torsten Björnsson saved Stockholm Generals from getting behind. Brian Bryngelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Marcelinho Motta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torsten Björnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Milan Pavlovský made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Martinsson got free with Torsten Björnsson in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torsten Björnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelinho Motta in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Stoke FF's Marcelinho Motta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Torsten Björnsson. That made the score 0-5 after 57 minutes of play. Stockholm Generals:s Torsten Björnsson showed great skill when he stopped Ralf Hultstrand:s penalty. After 62 played minutes Stockholm Generals got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Holmberg. Stockholm Generals's Sebastian Forsell was substituted for Brian Bryngelsson. The supporters of Stoke FF booed when Stockholm Generals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Holmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Stockholm Generals's Torsten Björnsson got control of the ball when Marcelinho Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Motta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Torsten Björnsson. Marcelinho Motta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. With his leg Torsten Björnsson managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Stoke FF's Marcelinho Motta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcelinho Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Torsten Björnsson made a huge save. Stoke FF made a substitution. Battal Seyyit Şehzade replaced Ralf Hultstrand. Leo Göransson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Stockholm Generals's Torsten Björnsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Stockholm Generals from getting a goal against them. Torsten Björnsson made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Marcelinho Motta sent off a good shot on target. Marcelinho Motta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torsten Björnsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelinho Motta slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 81st minute. Marcelinho Motta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Torsten Björnsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 89 played minutes Stockholm Generals got a freekick which was hit by Nils Malm. The audience was convinced that Alexis Sánchez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elliott Drewitz was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Torsten Björnsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Stoke FF's Marcelinho Motta shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-8 in the ordered_time% minute. The Stoke FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stoke FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
